Tanya Muckelrath is a retired jack-of-all-trades. Seriously. Her
professional years have been so eclectic, she doesn’t know what to
call herself anymore. She was a teacher and tutor for decades,
earning the moniker “CLEP Coach” for helping students give
themselves scholarships by utilizing CLEP exams to save time
and
money before/while attending college.
She also worked for the U.S. House of Representatives as a
Constituent Services Representative, was the Executive Assistant to
the CEO of an architectural firm, and a Financial Bookkeeper for a
church-planting organization and an electrical contractor.
Outside of work, Tanya is married to the love of her life,
Brett, and is the mother of six children—all now adults. She also
has two daughters-in-law and one granddaughter. Life is full!
In her free time, Tanya enjoys all things hiking. If it involves
mountains and/or water, count her in! Trails are her happy place.
Most people throw retirement parties, but to celebrate her
new-found freedom, Tanya is attempting a thru-hike of the
Appalachian Trail in 2021. If you want to follow along and join the
celebration, you can see all the happenings at:
